WHITBY WINTER WEATHER
Contrary to the views of the
popular press, Whitby is not snow bound and is open for business as
normal. All major routes into the area are open and perfectly safe.
Why not book in for a short break and get away from the rotten weather
in other parts of the country?

WINTER WARMER 3 FOR 2 BREAKS
From November through to
March, Sunday through Thursday, excluding Friday and Saturday nights,
public and school holidays and festivals. Tariff based on weekend rate
(e.g. a 3 night stay in a double room would cost £140.00, as opposed
to £180.00 at the winter midweek rate, a saving of £40.00)

SPECIAL OCCASIONS
For
those special anniversary's, birthday's, or romantic breaks, etc, we
can arrange flowers, chocolates and wine or champagne, to be placed
in your room. Please contact us in advance to make the necessary
arrangements.

EASTER, SUMMER & CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
During the main School and
Public
Holiday periods, we operate a minimum booking policy of 3 to 4 nights. If we
have 'fill-in' spaces, we will accept shorter bookings, but please
note that this is on an availability basis Alternatively, please
telephone nearer the time..

FESTIVALS & BANK HOLIDAY WEEKENDS
Please note that we will
only accept a minimum of 3 night bookings for any of the Bank Holiday
weekends or music festivals. The October Goth Festival (28 Oct - 1 Nov
10) is a minimum of 4 nights and the Whitby Folk Festival (21 - 27 Aug
10) is a minimum of 6 nights.

WEEKEND STAYS
Any stay
that includes a Saturday night, must be for a minimum of 2 nights.
Only in exceptional circumstances will we accept a one night weekend
stay, and a supplement will apply.

WHITBY GOLF CLUB
We can now arrange a 2
for the price of 1 Green Fees. Book your room and a round of golf at Whitby Golf Club
through The Arches Guesthouse and play an additional round for FREE !

PARKING
We do not have private parking,
but ample free and unrestricted On-Street parking is available to
those with patience and forbearance. If you wish to take the hassle
out of parking in Whitby (and indeed many areas of Scarborough
Borough), why not buy an Off-Street Advanced Parking Ticket from the
Whitby Tourist Information Centre (via 01723 232323). You may purchase
a minimum of 2 day and a maximum of 7 day parking permits, which works
out considerably cheaper than Pay & Display tickets from the car park
machines.
